Breakfast Club Arrival Arrangements

Parents should bring their children to the log cabin via the entrance on the Key Stage 2 Playground. You are required to sign in your child and once the session begins, a register of attendance will be taken.
The children must stay in the Club until 8.30am when they will be escorted to the KS2 door where a member of staff will be on duty to welcome them into school.

After School Club

After School Collection Arrangements

Parents must collect their child from the log cabin building via the entrance on the Key Stage 2 Playground. A register of attendance will be taken at the start of the session and you are required to sign out your child at the end of the day.
The Club closes at 6pm and all children must be collected by this time. Children will only be released to an authorised adult contact listed on your child’s registration form.

We have a mobile phone which is dedicated to the after school provision. Please use this number to advise us of any changes to collection arrangements or if you are delayed for any reason. Please do not leave a message on the school answer phone as the main school office will be closed. The number is 07783 446890.

What will my child be doing?

The children at Peardrops After School club are able to play with resources in a stimulating environment. The club is based in the log cabin by the KS2 playground and children staying after school will have access to the whole school facilities. This includes the school’s extensive outdoor space and staff will encourage the children to play outdoors as much as possible. Children attending after school club will have supervised use of the Tyre Park, the woodland area and staff will organise structured play on the playground (which is secure). Other indoor activities will be planned around topics which may include theme days, arts & crafts, role play, puzzles, construction play and board games.

What will my child have to eat at Peardrops?

Peardrops Breakfast Club will provide a selection of refreshments which include Toast, Muffins, Fruit, Yogurts, as well an option of Porridge and/or Beans on Toast during winter months. A healthy snack will also be provided to any child attending Peardrops After School Club. Water and milk will be available to drink at both sessions.

Who will look after my child at Peardrops?

Peardrops Club is run by experienced school staff Yvonne Parry and Catherine Wood. All staff are enhanced DBS checked.

Booking and Payment Methods

Bookings MUST be made via the ParentMail app via the ‘Account’ section. Spaces will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and payment MUST be made at the time of your booking. You will be unable to select a session to book if there are no further spaces available for that day or it is less than 7 days before the session date. Current methods of payment are via the ParentMail app, BACS payment or Childcare Vouchers.

If you pay by Childcare Vouchers or are a Free School Meal (FSM) family, you will be added to a £0.00 price band. This will allow you to make your booking without submitting a payment via ParentMail and then make your payment separately by Childcare Voucher or BACS payment.

If you are new to Peardrops, please contact the office prior to booking and if paying by Childcare Voucher, please register your voucher provider with the school using the form attached below.

Peardrops Charges

The cost of Breakfast Club will be £3.25 per session, and the cost of After School care will be £8.00 if attending to 5pm and £12.00 if attending until 6pm (£4 per hour).
Children from Pupil Premium families currently registered for Free Schools Meals (“FSM”) are entitled to a reduced rate of £1.00 per session for Breakfast Club. After School Club attendance will also be subsidised for FSM families to £4.00 if attending to 5pm and £6.00 if attending until 6pm.

Please note that parents are able to amend or cancel bookings up to 7 days prior to the required date. We are not able to issue a refund for cancellations made after this time.
